Sunday Worship

Sunday worship is the centre of life at The Christian Fellowship. We meet as family, worship and encounter our God together (Matt 18:20). The service begins with sung worship, focusses on teaching from the Bible and has a strong emphasis on prayer and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Every week:

Cell groups

Meeting together outside of a Sunday morning is an important aspect of the church life. Our cell groups offer the chance for fellowship, prayer, and mutual teaching. As Scripture, insight and experiences are shared, we seek to train Christians up for Spiritual Warfare and to stand firm in culture alongside the teaching on a Sunday.

Every week:

Tuesday 6pm

Wednesday 11am

Hope Café

Hope café is a chance for community ministry. In house coffee, cakes and sarnies with support and pastoral care for those who need it. Everything is free but there is a donation box if you wish to contribute to the work of the café.

Every week:

Wednesday 10am-2pm

Children and Youth Work

Our  children and youth work is run on a Thursday night. This is a chance for the kids to learn more about God and the Bible through games, crafts, cooking and stories. Our youth discuss cultural topics and faith with our youth leader prompting a Christian perspective into their secular worldviews.

Every week:

Kids (ages 5-11) 5-6.00pm

Youth (ages 11-16) 6:30pm-7:30pm

Our Friday prayer meeting has been running for 30 years now. Every week we intercede for the community of Lakenham and pray in faith for revival in this city. Starting with praise and thanksgiving, scriptures are read, people have prophesied and we are steadfast and immovable in the work God has called us to, knowing it is not in vain.

Every week:

Monday Christian School prayer meeting 7.30pm at the Davey's house (talk to Beth or Gwil for address)

Friday Revival prayer meeting 3.00pm in the modular building

Community Action Norwich

Formed in 1999, Community Action Norwich delivers the social outreach of the church in the Lakenham area. Our good working relationships with the local schools, churches, statutory agencies and other care related projects means that we are able to offer an excellent range of programs for children, young people and seniors across the local community.

Christian School in Norwich

As a church, we feel God calling us to take a step of faith in the area of education and set up a Christian school in the city.

City Ministries

We want to change the spiritual atmosphere in Greater Norwich and reach Norwich for Christ and the Kingdom of God together with other churches and ministries. We want to see the Body of Christ in Norwich empowered to find unity around the Word of God and to reach out to every sphere of society in order to see Gospel transformation across Norwich.
