Sunday worship at NHCC

Our main worship event is on Sunday mornings at 10.15am to 12.15pm. The service is highly interactive and inclusive and every Sunday is unique and diverse.

 

Those who lead and facilitate the meeting are all part of a team, which include the meeting leader, worship leader, speaker, children’s leaders etc. People are encouraged to contribute to the morning whether in fellowship conversations, open prayer or testimonies and spiritual gifts. We offer prayer for those who need help or who have health or other problems, at the end of each meeting.

 

Our time together is very family-orientated and friendly. The children and young people are considered to be part of the meeting and are catered for in a fun time of teaching and worship. Many of our folk stay for refreshments at the end of the meeting, and enjoy some time together.

 

The day starts with a breakfast club aimed at children who live in the immediate community. The club is a fun time of singing, craft, games and Bible teaching as well as a cooked breakfast.

 

There is a youth cell later in the day which aims to encourage and support young people in the faith.

 

Every third Sunday we hold an African Style Worship event at 5.30 in the afternoon. It is designed to be a home from home for those who are far from home.
