Youth Work
 Our youth work has now become part of the Share Lakenham Trust. This a charity formed by 3 Lakenham Churches who are pooling resources in order to serve the young people in Lakenham and Tuckswood.
Right now we are seeking funding to appoint a sessional youth worker on a weekly basis and our expectation is that the worker will be in post by Easter 2012.
Meanwhile about 12 young people meet on a weekly basis, every Thursday evening, at the New Hope Christian Centre for coffee, games and a chill out time. Any young person between the age of 11 to 15 would be most welcome to come along and join the club. |
