Mission Rescue Summer Holiday Club
We had a great time this summer with our local community childre n attending our summer holiday club. We ran the club every Thursday evening over the summer finishing with a BBQ and a bouncey castle.
The evenings included drama, songs, stories as well as crafts and games. The theme was secret agent work and our team of detectives tried to help rescue Moses and the Israelites from Pharoah.
We had a fantastic team of volunteers who worked tirelessly even in the face of gunge!
The favourite game this summer was the crocodile game which involved children being eaten under the parachute by the crocodile or rescued by a volunteer!
The crafts this year involved making detective badges out of icing sugar, flat bread and koi fish kites.
