God's presence was there
The garden at Kirby Bedon House was looking absolutely gorgeous. The azaleas and rhododendrons were fabulous. The weather was a little cool but it was a dry and pleasant day. Everything was set fair for a lovely day. Sunday May 18th was the day on which NHCC had invited Jill Gower of ‘Call to Prayer Ministry’ to conduct a teaching programme on the Tabernacle. ‘Call to Prayer’ have built a full size replica of the tabernacle Moses built, when Israel came out of Egypt. This tabernacle however is a prophetic illustration showing how, all that the original represented, is fulfilled in Jesus in the New Testament. Jill took us through each area and explained its meaning and purpose until we arrived at the inner sanctum, the Holy of Holies. “It was a powerful visual experience” said Ian Ashton - NHCC Prayer Leader. “There was a sense of being family together in the presence of God.” The children had a highly interactive, fun time in a session lead by Clare Elkins. They enjoyed quizzes; coloured pictures; built booths; cooked unleavened bread; and made some incense. Becca said, “It was fun and I would enjoy doing something like this again.” “Gods presence was there in a tangible way. It was a unique experience. Thank God for His blessing upon the day “, said Ian. Thanks also to all those who helped facilitate the day, before, during and after.
